Role type: 

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position based at Grandshake, 155 Queen St, Brisbane. With flexible work environment; 2 days from Office and 2 days work from home.

What’s the role:

The Content Writer and Program Designer will be responsible for overseeing the development, management and operation of programs and skills strategies to best achieve Grand Company’s short term goals and long term vision. 

You will craft highly engaging content programs and activities through our virtual work experience and upskilling products. Your goal is to develop highly relevant programs with a focus on increased engagement and retention. 

What you’ll do: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to;

• conduct research related to the area of work/job and the skills essential for the industry - research sources may include; interviews, self-study, etc.
• design a high-level program outline, including topics, dates and number of hours required per program.
• write engaging program content from scratch - content includes; text, videos, quizzes, project work and skill development activities.

• Work with the team to design, develop and implement effective and innovative virtual learning techniques and strategies to create a best practice online student-centred learning experience.

• Comfortable in front of a camera and record selfie videos using our videoask platform
• Something you can do naturally is being able to simplify complex information
• Able to work autonomously and be a team player while displaying excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Some experience in creative program writing would be ideal.
