Once you have a good understanding of what the problem is you need to start thinking of possible solutions.

Here’s how to brainstorm and then choose a solution to your problem...

Rule out the bad options

Look at your list of solutions. If you truly got creative with your brainstorming, some of them will be terrible. Truly terrible. Or totally unrealistic, like that ferrari your friend wants.

Now is the time to remove those ideas.

Consider the consequences

Have you whittled your list down to a few options? Now is the time to look at each of them in greater detail.

Every action has a reaction, so take each solution and if you’re feeling like it, write a pros and cons list for each.
