It’s always better to resolve conflicts internally by talking to your team or manager, because this helps maintain ongoing relationships. No awkward run-ins in the elevator or kitchen, thanks! 

But sometimes, the issue is bigger than that. If you need to go outside your team or if you’ve already approached the colleague you’re having trouble with and had your concerns dismissed, there are options. Junior employees are sadly often the ones taken advantage of the most, so it's important that you know a bit more about your rights and how to address them when you start working.
